My daughter loves animals. Recently she adopted a beautiful, blue eyed, husky. The dog is a girl. She was mistreated as a puppy and so now that she is an adult dog she has issues. My daughter is kind and loving and recently married to a wonderful man who is also kind and loving. They love this dog but as soon as they are out of sight(in the next room) the dog panics and starts to howl, pee, scratch and tear up the rug etc. I believe their new home is being dominated by the needs of this dog they rescued. Can the dog ever be normal?

With a lot of love patience and help of a professional dog trainer your daughter’s husky can be helped a lot, but she will never be as normal as a dog that had a loving puppy hood.
