One of my dogs is limping, and putting almost no weight on her left rear leg. The leg appears fine, no obvious sign of injury or swelling, and it has full range of motion.
I’ve been letting her rest today (first noticed it yesterday). Is this likely to get better without treatment? Are there treatments I can do at home? Or should I take her in?

Check the pad of her foot thoroughly and make sure there’s nothing stuck in there – even deeply – that could be causing this.
If not, then yes, better safe than sorry. As the leg appears fine (to you) and it has been over a day and she’s still placing no weight on it, any number of things could be wrong and it would be best to get a vet’s advice.
