My breeder is willing to give me my pup at 6 weeks old, I asked if he could stay with his litter mates longer and he said okay 7 weeks. Is this too early? Will my dog have issues?

7 weeks is too early. How good is this breeder? Usually, breeders will only let their puppies go at the minimum age of 10 weeks! If you can, ask this breeder if she/he can keep the puppy with the mom for another 3 weeks. It is always better to get a puppy who is a bit older, then too young. Good luck! I am not saying your dog WILL have issues, but being away from its mom too early does increase the chance of having issues in the future.
