Last night when my husband was going to bed, he noticed that our basset was limping on his hind leg. He barely puts any pressure on it. I got a real good look under his paw and inbetween his toes and did the whole range of motions on all his joints. He didn’t seem bothered by it at all and never cries when he gets up. He has frontline applied so I didn’t think it would be Lymes. But we did go for a long hike a few days ago. Has anyone else had any problems similar to this? I’m going to bring him in the vet to get a lymes test done and a exam of the leg, but theres really nothing more the vet can do. If I spend over $ 200, they would tell me that it’s a sprain.
He’s only 9 months.
He also has an appetite, but doesn’t want to follow me everywhere like he usually does. He seems a little tired.

How old is your dog? IMHO, I’d go for the x-rays.
Best of luck!!!
