Does anyone realize you need money for this sort of thing? Collars, leashes, dog food, vet bills, money at the ready should your dog get a disease, or heartworms, or such. Money for professional training, if you’re a new dog owner. Grooming. The list goes on.
Renee, I understand people would want to adopt, and that’s great, and I applaud people for that. But it makes me mad when people ask for a free dog, because they probably don’t realize they will be spending alot more money than just the adoption fee.

Jordan I really don;t think they think beyond getting the actual puppy. If they do think about these things maybe they think they will come for free too?
I don’t answer that type of question anymore as the poster only thinks you are being mean when you say the cost of the actual pup however much it costs is minimal to what it’s basic needs are over the course of it’s life.
