what are the actual signs of parvo? because just because your dog pukes or has diarhea that doesnt mean it has parvo… everything gets sick, thats how the world works.

Parvo is a terrrible painful, deadly virus that attacks the gastrointestinal system. Symptoms are vomiting, diarhea, dehydration, lethargy. Often there will be pieces of tissue from the dogs organs in the vomit or diarhea. Unfortunately the only treatment is fluid therapy, often antibiotics are given to prevent any secondary infection. People probably assume parvo all the time because anyone whose dog has had it know how terrible it really is, and never want anyone to go through that. It is preventable with a vaccine, and is spread through feces and body fluids of infected dogs.
